Humans are wired for social connection; we learn how to survive in the world based on the relational experiences we've had throughout our lifetime. Sometimes, these patterns of interaction become ingrained in our brains and bodies and prevent us from authentically connecting with ourselves and others. Through our work together, we will shift these patterns into more adaptive ways of being, work toward emotional regulation, and develop a positive view of self and others.
My therapeutic approach is warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I primarily work with couples and adult individuals, utilizing a relational, multicultural, and affirming lens. I believe in neuroscience, the science of attachment, and the power of relationships to foster healing and growth.
