I approach therapy with a culturally aware, faith-based, anti-oppressive and strengths-based lens, allowing clients to reach deep within themselves to explore their hidden potential and build upon healthy coping skills and resources to break self-destructive patterns. I aim for humility and open-mindedness; clients will find me equally supportive while gently challenging and redirecting them where necessary.
I aspire toward a model called "decolonial therapy", which sits at the crossroads of the psychological, political, ancestral, and collective, and is accessible while offering a path to liberation and healing.
