These last few years have been really hard on our Bodies. So many of us feel disconnected from ourselves. Your Body deserves to take up space - the world needs your voice and your story. My goal is that my clients can find a place to rest in our work together and to be authentically themselves. My specializations are in working with teenagers and young adults who may be neurodivergent, exploring gender identity and/or sexual orientation, healing from complex childhood trauma, and/or religious trauma, or looking to heal their relationship with food and their Bodies. I approach therapy from an anti-diet and fat-positive approach.

I work from a somatic based approach as a way to help create a mind-body connection. I utilize attachment-based therapy to help clients heal from trauma and begin to create stronger and healthier relationships with their loved ones. I bring my whole self into the work I do by utilizing compassion and humor.

As someone who has sat on the other side of the room, I know firsthand that healing is possible. Maybe you’re tired of feeling alone or maybe you’re tired of living a life unaligned with your values. A group for non-binary and gender expansive folx and all women looking to process religious trauma in a group setting. Wherever you are at on your deconstruction and/or deconversion journey, you are welcome here. Attendees often share how no matter their religious background, they find it healing to connect with others on the theme of growing up in high demand religious settings. Topics include purity culture and the patriarchy, gender identity and sexuality, deconstruction, and reclamation. Group members offer each other feedback, engage in empathetic listening, building community, and practice sharing their stories in a safe space.

A group for non-binary and gender expansive folx and all women who are fat (plus size, larger bodied) looking to process in community how to live aligned with one’s values, challenge anti fat bias, and heal one’s relationship with food and their body. Group is process based and social justice focused as members learn to navigate creating fat joy. Topics include fat liberation, medical fatphobia, identity, disordered eating, and dating/building community as a fat person. Group members offer each other feedback, engage in empathetic listening, building community, and practice sharing their stories in a safe space.
