With almost 20 years of experience in providing individual and group therapy, I have had the privilege of helping a diverse range of clients with issues such as depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, grief/loss, anger management, young adult issues, women's issues, mood disorders, self-injury, identity, life changes/transitions, relationship difficulties, work/life balance, and empowerment. My approach is centered on DBT, Compassion-Focused Therapy, EMDR, and Mindfulness practices. These tools, combined with a collaborative, transparent, and humor-infused approach, create an environment that promotes insight and positive change.

I hold a Masters degree in Clinical & Counseling Psychology from Illinois State University, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, board-certified with the National Board of Certified Counselors. In addition, I have specialty certifications in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Anger Management, and EMDR.

RO DBT offers a new approach to helping those struggling with disorders of overcontrol. RO DBT is useful for those who struggle with overcontrol: Inhibited emotional expression * Maladaptive perfectionism * Rigid rule-following behaviors * Social signaling * Isolation & loneliness. Join us on Fridays from 12pm-1pm. Enrollment in this class is ongoing and individuals can join at any time after completing an intake.
