Life is hard. Choosing a therapist doesn't have to be. As a neurodivergent human trying to shimmy and shake my way through life, I often turn to humour to help lighten my thoughts while attempting to bring compassion and joy to the people around me. I am a firm believer that laughter is an essential medicine and should be a fundamental tool in the therapy space. At the age of 17 I had my first incredibly helpful experience with therapy, and since have committed to de-stigmatizing mental health ever since. As a member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, I am passionate about offering a safe inclusive space to all people.
Safety, and humour are two important skills and tools that I use and help teach my clients. However sometimes, laughter isn't enough. Through gentle and firm conversation I walk with my clients through the hard moments in their lives. To strengthen our trust I will be open and honest, delivering truths to challenge you and build upon your strengths.
Throughout your time in therapy, it is my goal to help you build the skills necessary to live an authentic and whole life. There is nothing wrong with you. You are not damaged.
