Hello and welcome! I'm Mayim, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with experience treating individuals, couples and families. As a mama myself, I have special interest in supporting moms who are pregnant, postpartum, or are raising young children on the challenging and beautiful journey of motherhood. I work primarily with women seeking to heal from childhood trauma, set boundaries, sort out relationship difficulties, and overall, feel empowered to live a healthier life. I also enjoy providing pre-marital and couples counseling.
I approach therapy with warmth, authenticity, and a unique blend of directness and gentleness. I am trained in some of the most effective techniques to help clients who struggle with issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma. These include: EMDR, AIR Network, and Internal Family Systems. I also am certified as a Prepare Enrich facilitator.
I know that it can feel overwhelming to find a therapist who really "gets it." The therapeutic relationship is collaborative and an essential component for the success of therapy.
