Hi! I'm so glad you are here. Finding a therapist can be intimidating. I get it. This is a big, beautiful step you are taking. I want you to know that I value you as a life survivalist. Though it was painful, you have made it. You are a survivor. I would love the opportunity to create a safe space with you so that you may grow and evolve at your own pace in an environment where you are seen, heard, and accepted. I am deeply passionate about working with individual adults from all walks of life. I work with those experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-worth, and identity confusion. Additionally, I assist individuals who are navigating traumatic experiences and major life transitions such as divorce, religious abuse, interpersonal abuse, and complex trauma.
My therapeutic approach is fundamentally built upon relationship. I utilize psychodynamic, mindfulness, trauma-informed therapy, and internal family systems (IFS), also known as "parts work" therapy. Those are all fancy words to say this - I believe that safe relationships, especially the ones with ourselves, have the power to bring healing and growth.
