Life often feels lonely in the face of intense emotional and traumatic experiences. However, I believe that we all have the ability and resources to transform and live our authentic lives, and this transformative process occurs naturally in our relationships. In my practice, I utilize a collaborative and attachment-based approach to therapy. I believe in co-creating a therapeutic relationship where you feel empowered to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a safe and supportive space. By fostering a strong therapeutic alliance, we can work together to uncover patterns, cultivate resilience, and foster growth.
My approach is attuned to the unique challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ folks and people of color, ensuring an empathetic space with a commitment to culturally humble, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and trauma-informed care. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy used to address trauma, anxiety, and emotional wounds.
