As a society, we are constantly dealing with anxiety and isolation. The rapid advancement of technology has made it more challenging than ever to unplug and stay grounded. We often find ourselves overworked and emotionally exhausted due to the pressures of a fast-paced, high-stress lifestyle. These factors can worsen feelings of anxiety and depression. However, acknowledging these challenges will create a space where you feel comfortable exploring joy and learning to reconnect with yourself. By opening up about our struggles, we will take the first step towards healing, building resilience, and fostering connection to face challenges
I offer affirmative and client-centered therapy, I am trained in and utilize EMDR therapy to help clients process adverse experiences, and I have extensive training in LGBTQIA+ matters. I guide my clients to deepen their self-reflection by trusting their capabilities and feeling empowered.
It is important for society to not only tolerate but also celebrate diversity, as it encourages people to be more of themselves. Therefore, it’s important to honor non-normativity. As a therapist, I believe support and affirmation play a crucial role in helping individuals develop healthy coping skills and nurturing positive attitudes towards their identity.
