I work with people needing support handling stress in their life. This might show up as anxiety or depression, or an outdated coping strategy. Some of my clients are exploring their gender or sexuality, and may need support related to not being affirmed in their lives. I also see couples that want to communicate in a more constructive and collaborative way. I work with them on nervous system regulation as well as finding new ways to understand each other. Together we come up with strategies and try new ways of interacting. From there they usually have more capacity to deepen their relationship and move forward together.
I am most excited about working with the mind-body connection using mindfulness practices, somatic awareness, parts work, imagination, and creativity. I am passionate about sharing tools for nervous system regulation, working with gender, sex & sexuality, trauma, and the grief and joy around life transitions.
As a therapist, I am interested in who and how you are, and how you relate to your unique experience in the world. We can explore and address what gets in the way of how you want to show up and how you want to feel in your own skin. I will support you in growing awareness and compassion to find more ease and joy in life.
