I am a queer relationship therapist dedicated to supporting partners in relating across difference from a place of loving wholeness. Maybe you want to feel more connected, authentic, and loving toward your partner, or you may need to repair from breaches of trust. You may not have met your “inner children” yet and want to develop a trusting relationship with them. I hold space as a compassionate guide to walk that path with you. I'm here to witness, support, and make space for you and your partner to feel, share, and nurture all parts of yourselves, so that you can experience more of your own agency, authenticity, and wholeness.

I offer inner child healing and explorations ("parts work") that can both help heal from trauma and walk you home to yourself, by working together to welcome your experience, just as it is. I also offer mindfulness-based tools to build your capacity to be present with yourself and your partners across experiences of difference.

I specialize in working with trans and queer individuals and relationships. Having been in a queer, trans, interracial partnership for 9 years, I offer a special welcome to relationships navigating experiences of difference (racial, cultural, gendered, orientation, desire, etc), and transition (hormones, job, surgery, moving, family planning, etc).

My colleague, Jennie Beuhler, and I are excited to offer an Anti-Racist White Process Group through the Integral Counseling Center at Church Street beginning on January 7, 2021. This group is for self-identified white California residents who want to increase awareness of and work through some of the emotional experiences that can come up and get in the way of our ability to stay engaged and fully present during interactions across race and privilege. All fees collected will be split between a donation to The Okra Project and payment for consultation with Natalie Bell, LMFT.

As anti-trans violence & hatred gathers, it is vital that we create & inhabit spaces that allow us to gather ourselves, connect around shared experiences, appreciate the beautiful differences among us, & hold each other in community. The purpose of this group is to build community & connect around themes of trans/nonbinary experience. Themes we may explore include: fear, grief, & anger around anti-trans violence; gender dysphoria & euphoria; intersectional experiences of transness/transphobia; processes of transitioning socially, medically, etc; gender identity exploration; navigating systems & systemic responses to trans-ness. 12-week online facilitated peer support group beginning June 6th (skipping July 4).
