When your energy is low and your anxiety is high, it gets hard to reach out, and maybe you've been wondering if therapy is worth the effort. Healing is available, and I'll make it as easy as possible for you to get started. Using a warm, nonjudgmental, and clear approach to therapy, I offer a welcoming environment for adults, teens, and couples who are looking for change. Areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, grief, major life transitions, family difficulties (such as chronic conflict, estrangement, or parenting challenges), and faith-related struggles. Drawing from Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, I also specialize in Christian mindfulness (see www.TheMindfulChristian.com) for clients seeking a faith-based approach to therapy. In my office, you can expect to be cared for compassionately and listened to deeply, all within a framework of cultural competence and humility.
