In your life as a first responder (leo, fire, ems, dispatch, nurse, doctor, etc), first responder spouse, helping professional, postpartum parent, trauma survivor (including birth trauma), within pregnancy or as an individual living with a chronic illness; you deserve to feel hopeful, encouraged, unburdened, and balanced in all areas of your life. Whether you’ve been to therapy before or this is brand new, I know this can be uncomfortable or a point of hope when connecting with the right therapist where long-lasting change becomes possible.
I’m not here to tell you “what” to do. Instead, we’ll work as a team to identify and develop the steps (the 'how') that can help you make forward progress in your life. We will follow a pace that helps you feel open to sitting in the maybe uncomfortable things that bring you here, while working collaboratively to develop a process that aligns to you.
We won’t have the exact same story, but I hope there is comfort in knowing that I have also invested in my own trauma healing, life as a first responder family, and mom to an adorable toddler and angel baby. I don’t sit with any preconceived notions, I do come with a depth of empathy because of my lived experience. When I say “I get it”, I mean it.
