I love you, but I don't really get you; I hear this pretty often in the healthiest of relationships, and even more so in intercultural or interfaith ones. I know firsthand how wonderful and rewarding it is–and, at times, how painful and challenging. Maybe you’ve asked each other: “How do we connect again, now that we have kids? I am trauma informed (CPT, ERP, DBT) and I love working with and navigating intersectionality. If there's no immediate crisis that week, we'll do depth work or address the overarching goals that you came into therapy for.
