I am passionate about helping my clients explore the intersections of adoption, racial/ethnic identity, childhood trauma, confidence, and major life transitions. Throughout life, we continually revisit and re-negotiate our understanding of the experiences that have shaped us. It’s especially hard if you’ve been impacted by unique circumstances such as international/domestic adoption, multi-cultural family, or intergenerational experiences. I provide a warm and safe space that allows clients to explore their authentic self and build greater self awareness.
In sessions, I work from a perspective that asks, “What in your past has brought you here?” not “What is wrong with you?”. My clients appreciate how they shift into a more complete understanding of how their emotions and past experiences impact important decisions. They leave with practical tools to build on their strengths and make lasting change.
