We will help you work through the crisis, shock, emotional roller coaster and grief of betrayal. You will gain an understanding of betrayal trauma and the healing journey, learn how to manage triggers, develop boundaries, and increase clarity, self-confidence, and self-trust. Modalities used include psycho-education, group processing, art therapy and experiential activities. For men overcoming chronic infidelity, sexual addiction, internet compulsivity and/or intimacy disorders who want to replace toxic behaviors with healthy coping, life balance, and authentic connection. This group provides a place for individuals to practice new behaviors, gather feedback, and learn how to give and receive empathy and support. It is a resource for accountability to establish and maintain recovery and to live with integrity. Modalities include psycho-education, group processing and experiential activities. This is a safe and supportive group. It has been found to increase hope and empathy and decrease denial, risk of relapse, and toxic shame.
