Therapy is a deeply personal journey rooted in connection and the stories we tell about ourselves, our relationships, and our experiences. So, what’s your story? I strive to foster an environment where you can explore the many stories that make you unique. To me, that environment should be a space of inclusion, connection, and safety that is warm, non-judgmental, and empathetic. As a therapist, I see great value in offering gentleness, humour, and humbleness, because I believe these qualities ensure that clients have autonomy and that a therapeutic conversation is empowering.
I employ a trauma-informed and social justice-oriented approach to therapy with individuals, couples, and families. I work with a variety of concerns, and I am committed to understanding the intricate interplay between personal experiences and the larger systems that shape them. This lens allows me to recognize that everyone's story is multi-faceted.
I am trained in a variety of therapeutic models, including dialogic therapy, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and integrative therapy. Think I might be a good fit for you? I would be more than happy to meet with you for a free 15-minute consultation.
