I’m at my best as a therapist when working with clients who have found traditional talk therapy helpful at first, but eventually, ineffective. Therapists are not magic, but you have the medicine inside you to heal yourself, from trauma, broken relationships, all of it. I love working with helpers, including fellow therapists, and folks who are ready to be their own healers.
I am certified in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and in Janina Fisher's Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST). I am also an approved consultant with the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute and can provide consultation to providers interested in somatic approaches.
As a trauma therapist, I am absolutely committed to providing the best treatment possible to my clients. I try to keep current with the latest knowledge about trauma treatment and I don't mess around. I'm not here to waste your time or money.
