I imagine many of us can identify with what it is like to dismiss our painful emotions or tuck away our undesirable experiences. To carry the weight of past wounds or endure distressing concerns about the future. However your heart may ache, you have arrived here to what I would hope you can consider as an invitation. An invitation to enter a process of healing, empowerment, growth and becoming. I believe one of our greatest human needs is to be seen and understood. I hope that this process that we choose to begin can be an affirming and collaborative one in which we tend to your goals together.
It is a passion of mine to work with client's exploring their values and identity as they learn how to engage life in the most congruent way for them. This is often what comes up in my work with navigating early to mid-adulthood and at times even more specifically with my work with men as we explore intimacy, masculinity, shame, and self-esteem.
I also find myself passionate about my work with attachment and relationships, inner-child processing, as well as understanding family system dynamics and role expectations. Through therapy and our therapeutic relationship, it is my hope that client's will build insight and mindfulness around how to engage themselves with more acceptance and compassion.
