Hi there, I am Vanessa, a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and certified nutritionist (CN) who works with adult individuals and couples in Washington. I graduated from Bastyr University with a MS in nutrition and a MA in counseling psychology. I utilize an integrative approach and aim to create an honest, open, and supportive environment for us to explore your current concerns and gain a deeper understanding of yourself. My hope is to support you in finding your own personal values and meaning in life, and process hardships you may be facing that challenge your ability to be and feel like your authentic self.
My therapeutic work focuses on outpatient level eating disorders which I approach from a HAES/IE lens. I also enjoy working with various other mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, low self-esteem, personal growth/identity, life transitions, trauma, codependency, boundary setting, emotional regulation, grief, & more.
I view our therapeutic work as collaborative to discover how your past and present experiences have shaped your behaviors, thoughts, feelings, emotions, and relationships. With empathy, curiosity, and directness, I hope to guide you in your journey of healing, growth, and self-acceptance. I look forward to hearing from you!
