I am a therapist with a holistic approach focusing on how my clients’ experiences have influenced their thoughts, feelings and behaviors today. I believe my ability to "be with" my clients allows me to hold a space for them to be their authentic selves while guiding them to explore the meaning behind their behavior. I have extensive experience working with all ages & specialize in working with children ages 8 to 18 years old.
When working with younger children I engage parents in treatment sessions, with their child and/or separately. The goal of these sessions is to guide and support parents in learning effective techniques to relate and be in tune with their child while setting clear boundaries and expectations.
I am clinically trained in Multisystemic Therapy (MST), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
