I join with my clients in this process by exploring thoughts, emotions, and values as well as engaging them in psychoeducation, self-discovery, and skill development. I believe that humor holds a healthy place in the healing process and I deeply appreciate the ideocracies, absurdity, and beauty inherent in the human experience. Let's get existential together!
I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as Functional Family Therapy. Through psychoeducation and interventions from these models, I support my clients in managing symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma as well as other mental health diagnoses and presenting problems.
Utilizing evidence-based, solution-focused models, I work with my clients to motivate change and improve individual functioning as well as intimate relationships.
