Healing is an ongoing process of discovering YOU, embracing YOU, and daring to re-introduce yourself to a world that is unfamiliar with the “new” you. Wherever you are in your journey of discovering your identity, I am happy to meet you exactly where you are. My therapeutic style centers around creating a safe and authentic relationship. I will ask you to explore your strengths, your past, your childhood experiences, your internal and external connections. From learning these patterns, you can get to a place of shifting the ways you can cope, manage life stressors, and place new power in the values that serve you moving forward.
For individual therapy I utilize a Multi-Treatment Approach including Trauma-Informed Psychodynamic Therapy, Relational-Cultural Therapy, and Narrative, tailoring these methods to best suit each client’s unique healing journey and to empower you to reach your desired self. For couples, I utilize Gottman method to build healthy love foundations.
I am so glad you are searching for your healing. If you feel my approach would work for you, dont hesitate to send a message or call. A scheduling person will reach out on my behalf from Summits Edge Counseling, so that scheduling can be completed in a timely fashion. I look forward to meeting you. I am practicing under the supervision of Paul Olander, LCSW.
