I'm a person-centered therapist who is passionate about helping young adults overcome childhood trauma and emotional/psychological abuse. I know what it's like to feel stuck, to second guess yourself, and to struggle with trusting others. Low self-worth, anxiety, stress, fear, and difficulty expressing/controlling emotions can be debilitating. Often times, these struggles come with dysfunctional beliefs and negative thinking. As a trauma informed therapist, I treat anxiety and depression with an integrative and informed approach that is tailored to you. I provide clients with psychoeducation because it's helpful to know the why behind what we're doing. I will teach you different skills and help you process past and present hurts. You deserve holistic care and healing.
It can be intimidating coming in and sharing the most private parts of your life with a stranger. So it's important that we connect. I will be authentic with you and work hard to cultivate a space of warmth & safety. You will be given space free from judgement. Therapy is hard work.
