No matter the stage of life, there are always challenges to tackle. Some challenges are visible, such as the loss of a loved one, parenting, or relocating to a new city. Other challenges are not so visible –like worrying too much, struggling to feel connected to others, or just lacking the motivation to get through the day. Figuring out who we are or what makes life meaningful requires exploration, and this can be difficult to navigate alone. Moreover, exploration requires a safe and accepting environment, free from bias and judgment.
I work with clients (ages 18+) to build resilience and emotional health, and deepen their insight. My approach to wellness recognizes social and cultural influences that impact our wellbeing. This is important work and therapy is not always easy, but it is rewarding once we are able to live a life that is fully aligned with our values, culture and identity.
