Hi, I'm so glad you're here! Think of me as a supportive collaborator on your journey. As a queer therapist trained in affirmative therapy, my goal is to partner with you to understand your experience through the context of your unique, intersecting identities. I have a particular interest in working with LGBTQ+ couples, relationships, and individuals wishing to navigate difficult life transitions, identity, workplace stress, family of origin trauma, and the impact of each on our mental health. I also have extensive experience working with adolescents and welcome older teens (16+) in my practice.
In therapy, I'll support you with setting your therapeutic goals. After we get to know each other, we’ll work to understand the unconscious motivations for your actions and find tools to help you create change. Finally, while we focus on your experience, our work will be grounded in an understanding of the systemic and cultural contexts in which we exist.
Finding the right therapist can feel like a full-time job—I’m here to help! I have weekday afternoon and evening openings available with a few remaining morning sessions open (current as of 11/13/24). Email me to schedule a free, 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
