I know that it can be incredibly uncomfortable discussing the possibility of change. Change is both vulnerable and scary, but I promise to provide empathic facilitation and steady guidance through those changes. I have spent many years working in the creative arts, the restaurant industry, and with adolescents and families. I am no stranger to heightened levels of resistance and patience. I wish to create a space for you where introspection and exploration leads you to asking more questions and clarifying your goals. The strength of our therapeutic relationship will foster your ability for growth and human connection.
I aim to create a safe and empowering space for my clients to explore their most meaningful obstacles. My main goal is to foster a therapeutic relationship based on mutual trust, compassion, kindness, and empathy. My approach is psychodynamic, trauma-informed, collaborative, gentle, and is rooted in my ability to meet you exactly where you’re at, today.
I am operating under a limited permit with a lot of clinical support from my supervisor and peers. Working with Tricia Schwartz at Mindful Mental Health Counseling and Wellness has already been such a warm and welcoming experience. I look forward to hearing from you and feel free to reach out with any questions.
