Dialectical Behavior Skills (DBT) Training
DBT was created by Martha Linehan to treat people suffering with Borderline Personality Disorder, which had previously been deemed untreatable, but I find that DBT skills (including Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotional Regulation, and Distress Tolerance) are useful to everyone. Including us! Our Practice has 2 levels of DBT Group. Level 1 focuses skills training/psychoeducation and runs every 12 weeks on Tuesdays at 7pm. Level II supports clients who want support utilizing the skills they have learned in their everyday life on. This group runs on Wednesdays at 7pm on an ongoing basis. Trauma Processing Group
This group is to reduce your symptoms of PTSD and feelings of shame by sharing your story in a safe space with other survivors. Groups run separately for adult survivors of: Rape, Domestic/Intimate Partner Violence, Childhood Sexual Abuse, Childhood Physical & Emotional Abuse. Clients must have at least 3 months of individual therapy and actively attending at the time of the group. The group meets for 60 minutes weekly for 8-12 weeks with 4- 6 clients per group. A rigorous screening for this group ensures clients are ready for this step and that the environment is safe and supportive.

Men's Processing Group
In this in-person group you will have a safe and inviting space to share your stories and struggles with other men. The group therapist will empathically guide the members to challenge the expectations and beliefs that are prescribed to males by society and cultures to allow for the sharing of experiences through the lens of non-judgement. As the group connection deepens, your empathy and understanding for others will increase empathy and understanding of yourself. The group will last 60 minutes, have 5-8 members, and will begin as soon as we have 5 members to start.
