Welcome! I'm glad our paths have crossed. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist with 18 years of experience. My aim is to help clients sort through confusion, practice new ways of understanding and responding to experiences, meet their wounds with compassion, and reconnect with their inherent vitality. Through my practice, Vitality Counseling and Art Therapy, I often support those who are navigating the effects of change, chronic stress, or trauma. Some report feeling too intensely, while others feel detached. Often, their relationships are difficult. I serve adults of all ages and teens 17+
My practice, which incorporates art therapy (if interested), includes depth-work, offered in tandem with practical learning and skills. I seek to deeply understand the whole person, integrated mind/body, and the relationships/systems in which they have existed. My approach is relationally-based, trauma-informed and centered around compassion and honesty.
In addition to offering therapy and training/supervision to other clinicians, I've participated in my own personal therapy throughout adulthood. I understand of the importance of being offered compassion, honesty, and collaborative, thoughtful intervention.
