I became a therapist to help people realize their true capabilities in the midst of adversity. I want to normalize the idea of therapy and mobilize people, especially from a Black/African-American/Latinx background, to seek help sooner rather than later. Real growth starts when you are fed up with the nonsense and want to make moves. Therapy is a process that cannot be rushed, nor half done. It is not an overnight cure. How do we set boundaries without feeling guilty? How do we catch, challenge, and change anxious negative thoughts? How do we shed old skin, forgive our past selves, and step into a new version?

Let us work together to dig at the source of the suffering, the anger, the sadness, or pervasive unsatisfactoriness. The goal is to develop and strengthen a bravery to be able to relate to and sit within the uneasy feelings so that we are no longer afraid or controlled by it. This approach allows us to regain our power and face whatever problems are present.

You are the expert of your life and I work collaboratively with you to achieve therapy goals and serve as a catalyst to mental wellness. Give yourself permission to engage in the healing process and to commit to inner peace, self-love, and gratitude.
