For many of us, our lives often feel held hostage by feelings such as anxiety, depression, anger, frustration, loneliness, sadness, grief, and low self-esteem. The prominence of these feelings leads to a blocking of our ability to find meaning, purpose, and fulfillment in our lives. As a psychotherapist, I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and empathic environment, in which we can work through these feelings and challenges. Together, we will examine the historical context through which these feelings and your thoughts about yourself developed, and learn about the corresponding behavioral patterns that developed as a result.
As a clinician I am focused on working with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other humanistic issues stemming from romantic, familial, occupational, and other personal stressors. Additionally, after a prior career as a performing artist, I specialize in working with other creative professionals and professional artists and the unique challenges they face.
