Feeling overwhelmed? Life can bring on challenges that are difficult to work through without support. As the daughter of immigrant parents, I understand the complexities of inter-generational trauma. The weight of cultural and societal expectations can take a toll on one’s mental health. Family & religious pressure can also have a negative effect on our own identity and self-perception. I believe that no matter what our past has given us or what our future holds, we are capable of working through our life challenges. My goal as a therapist is to help clients embrace their authentic self and discover new paths of healing and growth.
I take a person-centered approach to therapy where I place a strong importance on the client-therapist relationship. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment for those in session through integrative and holistic techniques. I use practices that are based on principles of attachment, mindfulness, and self-compassion.
Regardless of what you are experiencing right now, you do not have to work through it alone. Making the decision to see a therapist and starting your own healing journey takes courage. Every individual is different. Together we can take a collaborative approach to find what works best for you!
