LMFT training focuses heavily on systems: the study of the inter-relationships between the self and the world around us. Relationships with families, communities, cultures, etc, are at the core of human psychological well-being. With individual clients, LMFT training allows me to provide deep, meaningful treatment within the context of a client's systems.
I have particular interest in Relationships. Trained in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy, I work with couples to address the deeper emotional needs and fears that underlie many marital concerns. I also specialize in Step Families work, helping clients navigate the complex and challenging blended family life.
