Hi, my name is Melissa and I would love the chance to hear your story and walk alongside you on your journey. As a therapist, I aim to be in your corner, creating a safe, dependable place to help you process, think outside the box, and feel supported through life's tough moments. I believe many factors impact who you are today (trauma, upbringing, culture, relationship influences, etc), but they do not have to determine your future. While counseling with me, we can get through your concerns together by identifying patterns and focusing more on your goals, in lieu of the things weighing you down and causing you pain.
I use an integrative, relational approach, grounded in the belief that each individual is unique and requires a customized treatment plan. I tend to work individuals struggling with the impact of trauma, anxiety, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, burnout, relationship difficulties, depression, grief, and struggles in prioritizing themselves over others.
