I believe we are always in a state of emergence- coming into our own and exploring the who, what, where, when, why and how of our being and our relationships. You serve a space to feel seen and supported as you navigate life’s challenges and questions- I’m here for you. I specialize in working with individuals looking to improve their relationship to themselves or others. This includes those who are coping with trauma, stress, depression or anxiety and are looking to build their skills and self-esteem. I also have experience supporting the parent/child relationship, health conditions, identity exploration and life changes.
I offer a compassionate and affirming approach that positions you, your identity and goals at the center. I value getting to know you and what elements may help to foster a therapeutic space for you. Our relationship as therapist and client grows and evolves yet the focus remains on your personal goals towards growth.
I earned my Masters in Social Work at the University of Albany’s School of Social Welfare and my Bachelor’s in Sociology from Skidmore College. My main focus includes psychodynamic psychotherapy with integration of elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and mindfulness techniques.
