Throughout my clinical experience, I have had the opportunity of providing individual, group, and couples including pre-marital counseling in a variety of settings that included community mental health, nursing homes, college counseling and private practice. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, adjustment difficulties to life stages and situations, relationships, and grief.
By using EFT & CBT approaches, I help my clients increase their self/others' acceptance and compassion, establish appropriate loving/caring boundaries, and increase their confidence in facing challenges that get in the way of pursuing their life goals. In my sessions, I rely on validation, humor, and strengths identification to gently challenge my clients.
I know that our mental/emotional health suffers based on situations that are very real, yet we don't have to suffer alone. Women's Online Therapy Group
In this group, women can explore and process difficulties in areas such as relationship with self and others, physical/medical concerns, grief, anxiety, and family dynamics. The group is open; therefore, new members can join at any time and be part of a cohesive and supportive environment that promotes self acceptance and self growth. We will be discussing, building, and solidifying coping skills, reframing opportunities, tuning into our emotions, and healthy boundaries, while gently challenging those obstacles and patterns to feel better.
