What does it mean to hold space for someone else? As a clinically trained social worker my goal is to provide a space for you that is safe, supportive and free from judgment. I help my clients explore identify sources of stress with a goal of improving their well-being, self awareness and coping skills. I enjoy working with people who are seeking to heal from traumatic life experiences, those who are working through grief and chronic stress, and those who are experiencing depression and anxiety. I have been practicing as a generalist social worker in the Helena community for 10 years.
I work with children ages 7+, adolescents/teens, and adults. I use evidence-based concepts of mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based, motivational interviewing, somatic/polyvagal theory, and solution-focused from a trauma-informed lens in my therapy practice.
