It is easy to feel anxious, overwhelmed, and stressed in today’s world. We might even be aware we are stuck in patterns that no longer benefit us. During these times, talking to a therapist can help. I am guided by my belief that our families and our social and cultural systems impact our ability to live fulfilling lives. My goal is to develop a safe and secure therapeutic relationship where we can uncover and address the source of your challenges and past traumas on your terms. Through our work together, we can also develop goals and plans to empower you to improve your relationships with yourself and others.
Through a culturally responsible/anti-oppressive lens, my focus is working with survivors of acute and chronic trauma and people experiencing relationship struggles. I also enjoy working with folks experiencing anxiety and/or depression and those having difficulty with life transitions and professional challenges.
In addition to traditional talk therapy, I am trained in EMDR, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, and IFS, and I employ Attachment, Somatic, and Mindfulness-based techniques to help clients utilize healthy coping skills. I am also in ongoing training for psychedelic-assisted therapies and I provide clinical supervision to associate therapists.
