Hello! I am Jairo Suarez and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and National Certified Counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of St. Thomas, Houston. I have experience counseling adolescents, adults, couples and families in areas like parenting, domestic violence education, processing trauma, anger management, self-esteem, and grief. My experience as an immigrant has made me sensitive to the hardships faced by marginalized groups. I understand how it feels to be lost, confused, and isolated and I hope to provide a safe place for my clients to experience connection.
My role as a counselor is to work alongside you to help you reach your goals. Feeling alone and unheard? We can work together to strengthen or build your support network. Having frequent arguments with your partner? We can work together in couple's counseling to discover healthier ways for you to communicate.
