I believe therapy can be a richly rewarding process. Through therapy you can find a deeper connection with yourself and others, overcome difficulties and move towards growth, healing, and self-compassion. Although therapy can be challenging at times, it can also be playful, utilizing humor and genuine curiosity. I strive to create a non-judgmental and collaborative environment, fostering trust, safety, and connection. My style is warm, engaged, and caring.
While I work from a psychodynamic perspective, I tailor my approach for your needs. Together, we may explore past and present experiences, uncover unconscious material, process difficult thoughts and emotions, and experiment with new behaviors and ways of relating.
I have experience working with children and adults who are experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, relationship conflict, life transitions, trauma, and family issues. I also work with couples to increase understanding of relationship dynamics and to foster connection.
