Being authentic with others can make us feel vulnerable and seeking help with problems we are experiencing may feel scary. It takes courage! As a therapist, I am dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental environment in which clients can journey through problematic pieces of their life, while maintaining and growing a healthy sense of self. I address the client as a multi-facetted individual by being mindful of psychological, physical, social and spiritual components of health and wellness. I work with individual adults, adolescents and couples.
Areas of interest include women's issues, religious abuse, sexuality and self-actualization. I have experience helping those recovering from domestic violence, toxic faith situations and clients recovering from childhood sexual abuse and trauma. Additional areas of focus include social/emotional issues and personal exploration/processing and life skills.
These are tough topics, but my professional and personal experiences have equipped me to feel confident in walking through the process of healing around those topics with my clients.
