Is your nervous system stuck in fight, flight, freeze, or appease? In the first session, I provide concrete tools to resolve somatic issues, flashbacks, PTSD, developmental trauma, attachment issues, phobias, medical trauma, autoimmune issues, and trauma without reliving the story. My Neurophysiological Trauma Treatment protocol offers a healing roadmap and answers the question, "What makes this make sense?"
I am trained in Somatic Experiencing (assistant), EMDR, DBT, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Neuroaffective Touch, The Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, and BASE (Relational Bodywork and Somatic Education). Those are a lot of letters, but it just means I am passionate blending therapies to help you heal. All of our team is trained in somatic therapy.
I have been married for 30 years to my wonderful husband. We have one young adult son and a boxer. We enjoy being part of the adoption community. In my first career, I was a youth leader, teacher, soccer coach, and martial arts instructor. In my free time, I enjoy riding ATVs, paddle boarding, mountain biking, and skiing.
