My ideal client is one with a history of trauma. Whether that was some form of mental, emotional, physical, or sexual abuse during childhood, issues within adolescence, or trauma experienced during your adult life, I will work with you to overcome the issues that extend from those traumatic experiences. Those who suffer with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideations/actions, PTSD, behavioral issues, and much more.
Through our psychoeducational process, utilizing methods based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and psychoanalysis, I will work with you in session by teaching you skills to challenge your thoughts, identify and manage your feelings/emotions, and address the behaviors you wish to change.
I have an extensive personal history with trauma. I've dealt with sexual, physical, emotional, mental abuse, the death of my mother as a child. Anxiety, fear, self-doubt, severe depression, combat PTSD, alcoholism, and poor relationships. I build connections through being genuine, providing open and honest empathy, and a non-judgmental atmosphere.
