Trauma impacts the ways in which we respond to every day stimulation and can shape our choices in healthy and unhealthy ways. According to research, more than half of men and women have experienced a trauma in their life time and 2 out of 5 women and 1 out of 6 men have experienced sexual trauma. You're not alone in this pain and I would love to help you through it. Using talk therapy combined with EMDR, we will build a safe place for you to process your hurt and be able to unwind what the brain has been holding on to.
I also enjoy working with men and women for stress management and relationship issues. With so many responsibilities often put on our shoulders, it's easy to feel stressed and overwhelmed. I would love to give you a safe place to talk, as well as skills to deal with the pressure you face on a daily basis.
I have a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Christian Sex Therapy. I love working with couples toward building more intimacy in their relationships, as well as, individuals, and teenagers toward creating a healthy view of sexuality with the goal of creating lasting intimate relationships.
