I approach the therapy relationship from an open and collaborative perspective. I predominantly use interpersonal, mindfulness, and family systems theories in my clinical work. My commitment is to actively listen with compassion; to witness your growth; to learn about your worldview and experiences; and to provide support as we work towards your goals. I want my patients to feel immediate relief with self care, education, and some skill building. Long term maintenance of growth tends to include deeper self reflection, exploring coping and relationship patterns, and emotional awareness.
I have received specialized training in Marriage and Family Therapy and Integrative Health Coaching. Other interests include: women's health-specifically endocrine issues and peri/menopause, wellness from an integrative health perspective and meditation/mindfulness. I am currently seeking certification as a Menopause Specialist healthcare provider.
I stand with LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. My expertise includes: mood disorders, relationship/family issues, couples therapy, health/wellness, and life transitions. I seek to provide compassionate care that is supportive of an individual or couple's unique needs.
