Not currently accepting new clients. Let's talk about it. Sometimes the hardest part about therapy is getting started. Finding the right provider, learning to accept help, and showing up to that intake session can be life changing. Make your mental health a priority- after all, your relationship with yourself is the most important (and longest) relationship that you will ever have! Together, we can work to reach your goals and improve your day to day living. It can also provide you with a safe and supportive space in which you can feel heard, validated, and understood.
I am intensively trained in DBT and work with individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder. I also work with those experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression, regulating emotions, interpersonal conflict, low self-esteem, and more. I incorporate mindfulness practices into therapy and working from a Cognitive-Behavioral perspective.
From the framework of evidenced-based practices, I help support adolescences (12+) and adults in managing interpersonal conflicts, negative thinking, communication skills, managing emotions and other difficulties.

Intensive Summer College DBT Program

Summer Intensive 9 week DBT Skills Group. The group will be held twice a week, with a total of 18 sessions. Virtual though Zoom. Groups sessions will be 90 minutes. June-August 2023. Geared toward college-aged young adults residing in DC and Virginia for the summer. The group will cover skills from all four modules (Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness). This is for individuals with no high risk behaviors. Although participation in individual therapy is not required, participants must complete a one-hour pretreatment session to assess fit, orient to program, and establish goals.
