Certified animal-assisted counseling can range from empowering clients with calming techniques, building social skills and expressing emotions, navigating changes and transitions, to help with overcoming challenges and building resilience.
I believe in a strength-based approach that is positive and collaborative. Expressive and experiential animal-assisted activities can help build coping strategies, communication skills, and a sense of self-efficacy that can be readily applied to everyday life.
