Are you tired of being stuck in past trauma? Sometimes even if we know the "why" it doesn't necessarily lead to feeling change. My work focuses on releasing trauma from your body and bringing regulation to your nervous system. The tools we use facilitate emotional regulation and a sense of balance and relaxation in a comfortable, supportive setting. It is important to me that each client feel heard and understood, and that the work we do brings about improvements in one's overall level of functioning.
Using a combination of "parts work", EMDR, and a new therapeutic technique called Deep Brain Reorienting, we work to target three levels in our trauma reprocessing - thoughts, feelings and body- for true healing of wounds. These approaches bring a greater depth to therapy, allowing you to reconnect to your true self.
I specialize in addressing emotional dysregulation utilizing neurofeedback, EMDR, DBR, and mindfulness techniques. I am Board Certified in Neurofeedback and have a Masters Degree in Counseling.
