As a therapist I offer witness, support and guidance for your unique life experience. Together, we will cultivate compassion for your challenges and help you to resource the skills and strengths you already may have. By identifying the symptoms that are present and the growth cycle(s) you are in, we can find meaning in your challenges and empower your ability to make healthy and authentic choices. Together, we can shed light on what may be eluding your current seeing, allowing you to recover your inner resources for healing and to gain new tools and insights for personal growth.
My past clinical experience is not limited to, but includes, working with survivors of sexual and domestic violence; senior citizens; families within child protective services and tribal youth. I also practiced as a massage therapist and SOMA bodyworker for 20 years and hold deep value and understanding for the relationships of the mind, body and spirit.
I practice with a trauma informed and social justice lens, acknowledging how social context interfaces with our psychologies, affecting our realities both within and beyond family of origin and internal experiences.
