As being a member of the LBGTQ plus community I understand the need for quality and competent affirming care. I'm licensed in ID and UT as a clinical counselor and as an advance certified alcohol and drug counselor in ID. My goal is to help clients work through life challenges and come out stronger on the other side. I focus on strengths and how to change patterns of behavior if you are ready and willing to get to work.
I have a harm reduction approach to addiction and life, change takes time and effort, there is no magic bullet but I'm here to help you manage life stressors. I like to focus on how our thoughts and emotions effect/affect our behaviors.
I'm genuine, honest, compassionate, and have a great sense of humor. I love to provide validation and support for my clients. I often find we really just need someone to really hear us in order to move past our traumas and be able to truly let things go.
